Dr. Edgar Peralta is originally from Michoacán, Mexico, emigrated to the United States when he was a child and began a path to his education.
He attended Parker University, one of the most prestigious universities in the United States for Chiropractic Medicine. In 2004, there were a total of 200 graduating students and Dr. Edgar Peralta was the only Hispanic from Mexico in his class.
Born in Costa Rica, speaking fluently English and Spanish, medical doctor graduated in 1982, university of Costa Rica with active license there.
For family reasons migrated to USA, graduated as a Chiropractic at Parker University in 2004, with plenty of experience in the medical field, helping patients in the Metroplex since that time.
Born and raised in del Rio, Texas in 1957, graduated From Del Rio HighSchool in 1975, worked as an auto and diesel mechanic for 15 years.
Graduated from El Centro College in Dallas in 1982. Then Graduated from Parker College of Chiropractic in 1989, he was doctor Peralta mentor.
Born and Dallas native, Girl Scout Gold Award recipient, and avid reader, whose had the following degrees bestowed upon her by Parker University’s College of Chiropractic: Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. Dr. Applewhite also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the only historically African-American Roman Catholic institution of higher education in the United States, Xavier University of Louisiana. Dr. Applewhite uses Chiropractic care to improve spinal health by supporting functionality and neuromuscular balance.
Born in Canada, Dr. Ozzie is a board-certified chiropractor with over five years of post-graduate studies and clinical practice in applied kinesiology (AK) and has three years of continuing education in functional/integrative medicine.
His study and practice of AK and functional/integrative medicine combined with chiropractic care greatly expands the success rate of the overall health of all his patients, as compared to the practice of chiropractic care alone.
He received his undergraduate pre-med education in Canada at Mount Royal College and at the University of Calgary. He then moved to Dallas in 1995 to attend Parker College of Chiropractic, where he received his doctorate in chiropractic in 1998.
Born in Dallas, Tx. raised in Oak Cliff. Dr. Puente graduated from Parker University on December 2005. Her main focus of practice is finding the root of the problem and not just treating the symptoms. She is focused on returning the patients to preinjury status in order to restore their functional abilities that are part of their everyday life. She is passionate about communicating the benefits of proactive care so the patient can take an active role in their own health goals.
Dr. Puente has continued to grow and develop her understanding of health and healing through seminars, continuing education courses and most of all her years of experience with her patients. Dr. Puente continues to spread the benefits of chiropractic in our Dallas and Ft. Worth area.
